Mitte Dezember verlor ich mein Portemonnaie in Bielefeld. Oder es wurde mir gestohlen. Jedenfalls ist es weg, ohne dass ich eine Idee habe warum oder wohin.
Und die Karte, ohne die sich der neuzeitliche Mensch ganz und gar unvollständig fühlt -- die EC-Karte --, diese Karte also wurde von der Commerzbank innerhalb von drei Tagen zugeschickt. Das ist großartig, finde ich. Gut, bis ich dann meine neue PIN hatte, dauerte es vier weitere Werktage, Heiligabend nicht mitgerechnet. Aber in dieser Zeit kann man ja immerhin schon mit einem Ausweispapier Geld bekommen. Selbst ohne Ausweispapier -- sagte man mir bei meiner Commerzbank-Filiale -- sei das möglich; man würde der jeweiligen Filiale dann ein Fax mit einer Vorlage meiner Unterschrift zukommen lassen, und die würde dann nach Vergleich Geld rausgeben.
Wesentlich unschöner ist das Thema Führerschein. Für die Neuausstellung möchte die Stadt Mettmann ungelogen 75,90 € haben. Vermutlich bekam man dort nicht mit, dass ich nur einen neuen Führerschein haben, nicht auch die Schalterbeamtin knallen möchte. Letzteres möchte ich übrigens unabhängig vom Preis der Neuausstellung des Führerscheins nicht.
Und obwohl die Diskussion schon Äonen alt ist, frage ich mich nach wie vor, wieso Beamte von Steuern nur bezahlt werden, um da zu sein, wieso aber das Inanspruchnehmen ihrer Dienste noch einmal Geld kostet. Das ist mir insbesondere bei Summen wie 75,90 € gänzlich unklar, wo doch sicherlich nichts anderes gemacht wird, als ein Formular auszufüllen und eine zentrale Stelle auf einen "Neue Karte erstellen"-Knopf drücken zu lassen.
Aber wer weiß; vielleicht springt ja doch bei der Abholung dieses essentiellen Ausweispapieres direkt auf der Theke der Dokumentenausgabe noch ein Akt körperlicher Danksagung heraus.
Es wäre allerdings lustig, ich würde mal einen Antrag im Bundestag stellen, man sollte ein Gesetz erlassen, Anwälte -- oder Ärzte oder sonstwer -- sollten Unsummen dafür erhalten, dass sie DA sind, und es würde allerdings extra kosten, wenn man sie auch noch in Anspruch nehmen wollte.
Da schüttele ich gern mal mit dem Kopf.
